Description

A fluffy and sweet blueberry cake that’s easy to make and perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the milk and vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  7. Gently fold in the blueberries.
  8. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish and spread it evenly.
  9. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Notes

For a dairy-free version, replace the milk with almond or coconut milk. You can also substitute the butter with coconut oil.
