Description

Fun and spooky chocolate cupcakes filled with strawberry sauce and decorated with buttercream frosting and fang marks, perfect for Halloween or themed parties.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup strawberry sauce (for filling)
  • Buttercream frosting (for decoration)
  • Red food coloring (optional, for fang marks)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake tin with liners.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add eggs, milk, and vanilla; mix until combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, sift together flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fill each cupcake liner 2/3 full with batter and bake for 18-20 minutes.
  6. Let the cupcakes cool completely.
  7. Once cooled, use a small knife to carve out the center of each cupcake and fill with strawberry sauce.
  8. Frost the top of the cupcakes with buttercream frosting and create fang marks with a piping bag.
