Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup strawberry sauce (for filling)
- Buttercream frosting (for decoration)
- Red food coloring (optional, for fang marks)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake tin with liners.
- In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until fluffy.
- Add eggs, milk, and vanilla; mix until combined.
- In a separate bowl, sift together flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fill each cupcake liner 2/3 full with batter and bake for 18-20 minutes.
- Let the cupcakes cool completely.
- Once cooled, use a small knife to carve out the center of each cupcake and fill with strawberry sauce.
- Frost the top of the cupcakes with buttercream frosting and create fang marks with a piping bag.
- Optionally, add red food coloring to the frosting for a spooky effect. Enjoy your creepy treats!
