Description

Juicy and flavorful turkey meatballs that offer a lighter twist on a classic dish, perfect for any meal plan.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup of grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Mix the ingredients until well incorporated.
  4. Form the mixture into meatballs about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter.
  5. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  6. Arrange the meatballs on the baking sheet with space between them.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through and golden brown.
  8. Serve with marinara sauce, pasta, or in a meatball sub.

Notes

For extra moisture, consider adding a tablespoon of milk or an extra egg white to the mixture. You can prep and refrigerate the meatballs before baking, or freeze them for later use.
