Description

A cozy and impressive dish featuring juicy chicken breasts smothered in gooey Jack cheese and creamy goodness.

Ingredients

  • 3-4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup shredded Jack cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for topping
  • Paprika for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Rub olive oil over the chicken breasts and season with salt and pepper.
  3. In a skillet over medium-high heat, sear chicken until golden brown on both sides, about 5 minutes per side.
  4. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and let it simmer while scraping the pan.
  6. Stir in sour cream until well combined and let it bubble for about 5 minutes.
  7. Top each chicken breast with shredded Jack cheese.
  8. Transfer to the oven and bake for around 15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Garnish with chopped green onions and paprika before serving.

Notes

For alternatives, you can use Mozzarella instead of Jack cheese or Greek yogurt instead of sour cream.
