Ingredients
- 4 large sweet potatoes, sliced
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 1 cup Gruyère cheese, grated
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Gather all ingredients together.
- In a greased baking dish, layer sweet potato slices, cranberries, and Gruyère cheese, seasoning each layer with salt and pepper.
- Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used.
- Pour heavy cream over the top layer.
- Melt butter and mix with breadcrumbs, then sprinkle over the top.
- Bake for about 45 minutes until golden brown and tender.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
