Description

A quick and delightful dish featuring tortellini, fresh spinach, and a creamy tomato sauce that satisfies both taste buds and the soul.


Ingredients

  • 1 package tortellini (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/2 pound ground meat (beef, turkey, or sausage)
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (with juices)
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1/2 cup cream or cream cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese for serving


Instructions

  1. Boil water in a pot and cook the tortellini according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and brown the ground meat.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for about a minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the diced tomatoes, followed by the spinach and cream or cream cheese. Cook until the spinach wilts.
  5. Gently mix in the drained tortellini and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve warm, topped with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
