Description

A creamy, cheesy, and comforting casserole that’s easy to make and perfect for any casual dinner or potluck.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz egg noodles
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, brown the ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat until the beef is no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the cooked noodles, browned beef, sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, half of the cheddar cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes or until heated through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
