A creamy, cheesy, and comforting casserole that’s easy to make and perfect for any casual dinner or potluck.
Ingredients
- 12 oz egg noodles
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups sour cream
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat until the beef is no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked noodles, browned beef, sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, half of the cheddar cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
- Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes or until heated through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
