Description

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet and brown on both sides for about 5-7 minutes each.
  3. Remove chicken and set aside.
  4. Sauté the sliced onion in the same skillet until translucent.
  5. Stir in the sour cream and chicken broth, bringing it to a simmer.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet, cover, and cook for another 10-15 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
