Description

A tasty hybrid of burgers and quesadillas that’s quick and easy to make, with crispy edges and gooey cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or American cheese
  • Optional: pickles, diced onions, burger sauce for serving


Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
  2. Press a small handful of ground beef onto one half of each tortilla and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Cook the beef side down for 2–3 minutes until browned.
  4. Flip the tortilla so the beef is facing up and sprinkle cheese on top.
  5. Fold the tortilla in half and grill both sides until crispy and melty, about 3–4 minutes per side.
  6. Slice and serve with your favorite toppings.

Notes

Make sure to preheat the skillet and use warm tortillas for the best results.
