Description

A delightful fusion of smashburger and quesadilla, filled with juicy beef and melted cheese for a comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or American cheese
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Garlic powder, to taste
  • Optional toppings: pickles, diced onions, burger sauce


Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients and season the ground beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
  3. Take a small handful of seasoned ground beef and press onto one half of each tortilla.
  4. Cook the beef side down for 2-3 minutes until browned.
  5. Flip the tortilla and sprinkle cheese over the beef, then fold in half.
  6. Grill both sides until crispy and cheese is melted.
  7. Slice into wedges and serve with toppings.

Notes

Brush tortillas with olive oil for extra crispiness. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days, or freeze for 2 months.
