Ingredients
- 2 pounds beef stew meat
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 cup sour cream
- 8 ounces egg noodles
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Combine beef stew meat, chopped onion, minced garlic, and sliced mushrooms in a slow cooker.
- Pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce.
- Add salt, pepper, and paprika to the mixture.
- Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or on high for 4-5 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, cook egg noodles according to package instructions.
- In the last few minutes of cooking, stir in sour cream.
- Serve beef stroganoff over noodles and garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
For best results, use beef with fat marbling and consider searing it before adding to the slow cooker for extra flavor.
