Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs beef stew meat
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Egg noodles for serving
Instructions
- In a slow cooker, dump in the beef stew meat, chopped onion, sliced mushrooms, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or on high for 4-5 hours until the beef is tender.
- Stir in the sour cream just before serving.
- Serve hot over cooked egg noodles.
Notes
Browning the meat before cooking adds flavor. Don’t skip the seasoning, and ensure you allow enough cooking time for tender beef.
