A comforting, creamy, and delicious beef stroganoff made effortlessly in a slow cooker.
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs beef stew meat
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup sour cream
- 8 oz cream of mushroom soup
- Egg noodles, for serving
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- In a slow cooker, combine beef stew meat, chopped onion, garlic, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- In the last 30 minutes of cooking, stir in the sour cream and cream of mushroom soup.
- Cook egg noodles according to package instructions.
- Serve beef stroganoff over egg noodles and garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
Browning the meat before adding to the slow cooker enhances flavor. Letting the dish rest before serving improves taste.
