Description

A delicious, lazy dish featuring tender beef, hearty potatoes, and flavor-packed gravy, all made effortlessly in a slow cooker.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs beef chuck roast
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 4 slices of bread, toasted
  • 1 cup brown gravy

Instructions

  1. Place the beef chuck roast in the slow cooker and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Add chopped onion, minced garlic, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Cook on low for 7-8 hours or until the beef is fork-tender.
  4. About 30 minutes before serving, add the cubed potatoes to the slow cooker.
  5. Once cooked, shred the beef with two forks.
  6. Serve the beef and potatoes over toasted bread and smother with brown gravy.

Notes

Feel free to adjust cooking times if using different cuts of beef and consider using alternatives like soy sauce for Worcestershire if necessary.
