A nostalgic and comforting Sloppy Joe casserole filled with savory beef, zesty sauce, and gooey cheese, perfect for weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 8 ounces pasta noodles
- 1 can Manwich sauce
- 1 cup corn (frozen or canned)
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add pasta noodles, Manwich sauce, corn, diced tomatoes, salt, and pepper to the skillet, and mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle cheese over the top of the pasta mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For a vegetarian version, swap ground beef for crumbled tempeh or lentils.
