Ingredients
- 1 baguette
- 2 ripe peaches, chopped
- 1 cup whipped ricotta
- 2 tablespoons honey
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Olive oil for brushing
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the baguette into 1/2 inch thick pieces and arrange them on a baking sheet. Lightly brush each piece with olive oil.
- Toast the bread in the oven for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
- Chop the ripe peaches and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine whipped ricotta with a drizzle of honey, salt, and pepper.
- Spread a generous dollop of whipped ricotta on each toasted bread slice, then top with chopped peaches.
- Garnish with fresh basil and a drizzle of honey. Serve immediately.
