Description

A delightful dish featuring salmon with a sweet and savory brown sugar garlic glaze, perfect for a quick and healthy dinner.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Chopped parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, garlic, olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper to create the glaze.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down. Brush the glaze evenly over each fillet.
  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Optional: Garnish with chopped parsley before serving. Serve warm with your favorite side dishes.

Notes

For best results, do not overcook the salmon to keep it moist. You can add red pepper flakes for heat or let the glaze marinate the salmon for 30 minutes before baking.
