Ingredients
- 1 lb round steak
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 medium potatoes, chopped
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 cup baby carrots
- 1 can mushroom soup
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients together.
- Peel and chop potatoes into bite-sized pieces. Slice onion and wash the baby carrots.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season both sides of the round steak with salt and pepper, then sear for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden-brown.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until aromatic.
- Layer the chopped potatoes, sliced onion, and baby carrots over the steak.
- Pour mushroom soup over the steak and veggies, stirring gently to combine.
- Cover and simmer on low heat for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top a few minutes before serving and cover until melted.
