Description

A delightful twist on traditional pizza featuring roasted garlic, tender chicken, and three types of cheese for a creamy and rich flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1 ball of pizza dough (about 12-inch)
  • 1 head garlic
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
  • 1 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 3/4 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Slice the top off the head of garlic. Drizzle it with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, wrap it in foil, and roast for 20 minutes or until soft.
  3. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to about 12 inches in diameter. Transfer it to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  4. Squeeze the roasted garlic cloves into a bowl and mash them. Mix with ricotta cheese, the remaining tablespoon of olive oil, salt, and pepper to create a white sauce.
  5. Spread the roasted garlic white sauce evenly over the pizza dough. Top with shredded chicken, mozzarella, Parmesan, and dried oregano.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly. Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired, slice, and serve.

Notes

Feel free to use store-bought pizza dough for convenience. You can add other toppings, like spinach, mushrooms, or bell peppers, for extra flavor and nutrients.
