Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt (for biscuits)
- 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 3/4 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine cooked chicken, frozen mixed vegetables, cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and chicken broth in a mixing bowl.
- Spread the mixture evenly in a casserole or pie dish.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Cut in cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in shredded cheddar and garlic powder, then gradually mix in milk until just combined.
- Spoon biscuit dough over the chicken filling for even coverage.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, until biscuits are golden and filling is bubbly.
