Description

A creamy and flavorful ranch chicken dish made effortlessly in a crockpot, perfect for busy days.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 can, 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (optional)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Optional: Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and sear chicken breasts for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  2. Add cream of chicken soup, ranch seasoning, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper to the crockpot and stir well.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot and coat them with the sauce mixture.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks and stir it back into the sauce.
  6. Stir in sour cream and sprinkle with shredded cheese and parsley if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, searing the chicken is recommended. Adjust cooking time if using frozen chicken breasts.
