A quick and easy one-pan meal featuring ground beef, creamy sauce, and egg noodles, perfect for a fast weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cups egg noodles
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic; sauté until soft and fragrant.
- Toss in ground beef and cook until browned.
- Add sliced mushrooms and cook until they release moisture.
- Stir in beef broth and bring to a boil.
- Add egg noodles, reduce heat to a simmer, and cook until noodles are tender.
- Remove from heat and fold in sour cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
Feel free to substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version. You can also use Greek yogurt as a sour cream alternative for added protein.
