Delightful bites combining rich prosciutto with creamy mozzarella and fresh basil, drizzled with balsamic glaze.
Ingredients
- 10 slices prosciutto, halved lengthwise
- 20 mini mozzarella balls (bocconcini)
- 20 fresh basil leaves
- Balsamic glaze, for drizzling
- Toothpicks or mini skewers
Instructions
- Lay out the prosciutto strips on a clean surface.
- Layer with a fresh basil leaf at one end of each prosciutto strip.
- Place a mozzarella ball on top of the basil leaf.
- Roll tightly into snug little wraps to secure the mozzarella and basil within the prosciutto.
- Secure with a toothpick or mini skewer.
- Drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.
Notes
Best eaten within 1-2 days; do not freeze for best texture.
