Description

A comforting chicken rice casserole that combines wholesome ingredients for a balanced meal in just one dish.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup uncooked long-grain rice
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese


Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, uncooked rice, cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Cover tightly with foil and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes.
  3. Remove the foil, sprinkle cheddar cheese on top, and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
