A simple and delicious recipe for crispy Parmesan crusted chicken that’s easy to make and perfect for dinner.
Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for frying
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow bowl, whisk the egg until frothy.
- In another bowl, combine the breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Dip each chicken breast into the egg mixture, then into the breadcrumb mix.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chicken and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer to a baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
- Serve hot with your favorite side dish.
Notes
For a juicier option, you can substitute chicken breasts with chicken thighs. You can also use any hard cheese if Parmesan is not available.
