Description

Delicious no-bake Oreo Peanut Butter Bars with layers of creamy peanut butter and chocolate.

Ingredients

  • 24 Oreo cookies
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor. Mix crumbs with melted butter until fully combined. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the crust.
  3. In a medium bowl, beat together creamy peanut butter, softened butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Spread the peanut butter mixture evenly over the Oreo crust.
  4. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips with peanut butter in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Pour the melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer and spread evenly.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or until set. Remove from the pan, cut into bars, and serve.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week or freeze for longer storage. Use crunchy peanut butter for added texture.
