Description
Delicious no-bake Oreo Peanut Butter Bars with layers of creamy peanut butter and chocolate.
Ingredients
- 24 Oreo cookies
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter (for topping)
Instructions
- Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor. Mix crumbs with melted butter until fully combined. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the crust.
- In a medium bowl, beat together creamy peanut butter, softened butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Spread the peanut butter mixture evenly over the Oreo crust.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips with peanut butter in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Pour the melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer and spread evenly.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or until set. Remove from the pan, cut into bars, and serve.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week or freeze for longer storage. Use crunchy peanut butter for added texture.
