Fun and spooky Oreo Ghost Truffles perfect for Halloween or any festive occasion. Easy to make and a hit with kids and adults alike.
Ingredients
- 1 package Oreo cookies
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 12 ounces white chocolate, chopped
- Candy eyes
Instructions
- Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor until fine crumbs form.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos and softened cream cheese until well blended.
- Roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
- Freeze for about 30 minutes until firm.
- Melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl.
- Dip each chilled Oreo ball into the white chocolate, making sure to coat it completely.
- Place the coated truffles back on the baking sheet.
- Before the chocolate hardens, place candy eyes on each truffle to create ghost faces.
- Let the truffles set at room temperature or refrigerate until the chocolate hardens, then serve.
Notes
For an easier coating, use a fork to dip the truffles in the melted chocolate. These truffles are best served chilled.
