A quick and easy one pot creamy garlic pasta recipe that’s delicious and requires minimal cleanup.
Ingredients
- 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or spaghetti)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups milk (whole milk recommended)
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Add the pasta, milk, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally until the pasta is cooked and sauce is creamy (about 10-15 minutes).
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
Avoid adding too much milk to prevent a watery sauce, and don’t skip the cheese for best flavor.
