Description

A comforting and creamy dish featuring tender beef, savory mushrooms, and egg noodles, all cooked in one pot for minimal cleanup.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb sliced beef sirloin
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup egg noodles
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add sliced beef sirloin and cook until browned on all sides.
  3. Remove beef and set aside. Sauté chopped onion, minced garlic, and sliced mushrooms until tender.
  4. Pour in beef broth and bring to a boil.
  5. Stir in egg noodles and cook according to package instructions.
  6. Reduce heat and stir in sour cream.
  7. Return the browned beef to the skillet and mix well.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and garnish with chopped parsley.

Notes

This dish can be made ahead and stored. Leftovers can be reheated with a splash of broth to restore creaminess.
