Description
A comforting and hearty one-pot beef stroganoff that’s easy to make and perfect for any weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 12 ounces egg noodles
- Parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until onions are translucent.
- Stir in the sliced mushrooms and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Pour in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and add paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir and bring to a simmer.
- Add the egg noodles and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes, or until noodles are cooked.
- Remove from heat and stir in sour cream until well combined.
- Garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
Feel free to substitute ground beef with turkey or vegetarian meat. You can use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream for a healthier option.
