Description

A comforting and hearty one-pot beef stroganoff that’s easy to make and perfect for any weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 ounces egg noodles
  • Parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until onions are translucent.
  3. Stir in the sliced mushrooms and cook for another 5 minutes.
  4. Pour in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and add paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir and bring to a simmer.
  5. Add the egg noodles and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes, or until noodles are cooked.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream until well combined.
  7. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

Feel free to substitute ground beef with turkey or vegetarian meat. You can use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream for a healthier option.
