Description

Delicious muffins featuring ripe bananas and creamy Nutella, perfect for breakfast or a snack.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup Nutella


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 12-cup muffin pan with paper liners.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together mashed bananas, sugar, melted butter, milk, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  4. Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups. Drop a teaspoon of Nutella onto each muffin and swirl gently with a toothpick.
  5. Bake for 18–20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Cool the muffins in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Best served warm with a little extra Nutella on top. Store in an airtight container for up to three days or freeze for up to two months.
