Delicious muffins featuring ripe bananas and creamy Nutella, perfect for breakfast or a snack.
Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup Nutella
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 12-cup muffin pan with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, whisk together mashed bananas, sugar, melted butter, milk, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups. Drop a teaspoon of Nutella onto each muffin and swirl gently with a toothpick.
- Bake for 18–20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool the muffins in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Best served warm with a little extra Nutella on top. Store in an airtight container for up to three days or freeze for up to two months.
