Description

A comforting and easy slow-cooked meal blending ranch seasoning and tender chicken, perfect for family dinners and busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 can (10.5 ounce) cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional for searing)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional for garnish)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. If searing, cook for a few minutes on each side to lock in juices.
  2. Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together cream of chicken soup, ranch seasoning, chicken broth, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until smooth.
  4. Pour the sauce over the chicken, ensuring it’s fully coated.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours until the chicken is tender.
  6. Garnish with cheddar cheese and parsley before serving.
  7. Serve warm with rice, mashed potatoes, or salad.

Notes

For added flavor, consider searing the chicken before cooking. Leftovers can be refrigerated or frozen for later use.
