Description
A comforting and easy slow-cooked meal blending ranch seasoning and tender chicken, perfect for family dinners and busy weeknights.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 can (10.5 ounce) cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional for searing)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional for garnish)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. If searing, cook for a few minutes on each side to lock in juices.
- Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, whisk together cream of chicken soup, ranch seasoning, chicken broth, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until smooth.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken, ensuring it’s fully coated.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours until the chicken is tender.
- Garnish with cheddar cheese and parsley before serving.
- Serve warm with rice, mashed potatoes, or salad.
Notes
For added flavor, consider searing the chicken before cooking. Leftovers can be refrigerated or frozen for later use.
