An easy, indulgent dish featuring crispy Parmesan crusted chicken breasts, perfect for impressing family and friends without the fuss.
Ingredients
- 4 Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tsp Salt
- ½ tsp Black pepper
- ½ tsp Garlic powder
- ½ tsp Paprika
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- ½ cup Shredded mozzarella cheese (optional)
- ½ cup Grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup Ranch dressing
- ¼ cup Mayonnaise
- 2 Garlic cloves (minced)
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
- ¼ tsp Red pepper flakes (optional)
- ½ cup Panko breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup Grated Parmesan cheese (additional)
- 2 tbsp Unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 tbsp Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
Instructions
- Pat the chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- In a bowl, mix together grated Parmesan, ranch dressing, mayonnaise, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes.
- In another bowl, combine Panko breadcrumbs with melted butter and remaining grated Parmesan.
- Spread the Parmesan topping over the chicken and sprinkle with the Panko mixture. Bake for about 20 minutes or until cooked through and topping is golden brown.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.
Notes
Ensure the chicken is cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F. For an alternative to mayonnaise, Greek yogurt can be used.
