Description

A quick and easy one-pot pasta dish that combines the flavors of a bacon cheeseburger with creamy cheese and tender pasta.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces short pasta (penne, rotini, or elbow macaroni)
  • 1 pound ground beef (or ground turkey/chicken)
  • 6 slices bacon (cooked until crispy)
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Boil a large pot of salted water. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  3. Fry bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, around 8 minutes. Chop into pieces.
  4. Add cream cheese and cheddar cheese to the beef, stirring until melted.
  5. Sprinkle in garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
  6. Toss in the cooked pasta and mix until coated in the cheese mixture.
  7. Fold in crispy bacon and serve hot.

Notes

For added flavor, feel free to experiment with different cheeses and pasta shapes. You can also include veggies like bell peppers or mushrooms for extra nutrition.
