Description

A delicious crockpot beef roast that cooks itself while you relax. Tender, flavorful, and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs. Beef Chuck Roast
  • 1 oz. Lipton Recipe Secrets Onion Soup packet
  • 1 oz. Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing Mix packet or 3 Tbsp Homemade Buttermilk Ranch Dressing Mix
  • 12 oz. Swanson Beef Broth (1 can)
  • 1 Tsp. Paprika
  • 1 large White Onion, quartered

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients.
  2. Add dry ingredients (soup mix, ranch dressing mix, and paprika) to a small bowl and mix together for your beef rub.
  3. Pat your roast with paper towels to dry and remove any strings or netting.
  4. Pour the beef broth into the crockpot.
  5. Carefully place the roast in the crockpot and generously coat it with the rub.
  6. Add quartered white onion around the roast.
  7. Cook on LOW for 6-7 hours, or until tender.
  8. When done, remove the roast from the crockpot and place it on a serving platter to slice.
  9. Serve with a side of loaded mashed potatoes.

Notes
