A delicious crockpot beef roast that cooks itself while you relax. Tender, flavorful, and perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 3 lbs. Beef Chuck Roast
- 1 oz. Lipton Recipe Secrets Onion Soup packet
- 1 oz. Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing Mix packet or 3 Tbsp Homemade Buttermilk Ranch Dressing Mix
- 12 oz. Swanson Beef Broth (1 can)
- 1 Tsp. Paprika
- 1 large White Onion, quartered
Instructions
- Gather your ingredients.
- Add dry ingredients (soup mix, ranch dressing mix, and paprika) to a small bowl and mix together for your beef rub.
- Pat your roast with paper towels to dry and remove any strings or netting.
- Pour the beef broth into the crockpot.
- Carefully place the roast in the crockpot and generously coat it with the rub.
- Add quartered white onion around the roast.
- Cook on LOW for 6-7 hours, or until tender.
- When done, remove the roast from the crockpot and place it on a serving platter to slice.
- Serve with a side of loaded mashed potatoes.
Notes
Avoid cooking the beef from frozen and remember to let it thaw for best results.
