Description

A delicious blend of a cheesy grilled cheese sandwich wrapped in a burrito for the ultimate comfort food experience.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Beef (or substitute with turkey or plant-based meat)
  • 1 packet Taco Seasoning
  • 2 cups Cooked White Rice (or brown rice/quinoa)
  • 1 cup Sour Cream (or yogurt/dairy-free options)
  • 1 cup Nacho Cheese Sauce (or homemade/vegan cheese)
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Chipotle Sauce
  • 4 large Flour Tortillas (or whole wheat/gluten-free)
  • 2 tablespoons Butter or Oil


Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef and drain any excess fat.
  2. Sprinkle the taco seasoning into the beef and add a splash of water. Cook for 5 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add the cooked rice and mix well, seasoning to taste.
  4. Stir in the sour cream until well combined.
  5. Add both cheeses and stir until melted and combined.
  6. Place a generous scoop of the mixture in the center of a tortilla and roll it up.
  7. In the same skillet, melt butter or oil over medium heat. Grill the burrito seam side down until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  8. Remove from the skillet, let cool briefly, then slice in half and serve.
