A delicious blend of a cheesy grilled cheese sandwich wrapped in a burrito for the ultimate comfort food experience.
Ingredients
- 1 pound Ground Beef (or substitute with turkey or plant-based meat)
- 1 packet Taco Seasoning
- 2 cups Cooked White Rice (or brown rice/quinoa)
- 1 cup Sour Cream (or yogurt/dairy-free options)
- 1 cup Nacho Cheese Sauce (or homemade/vegan cheese)
- 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- 1 tablespoon Chipotle Sauce
- 4 large Flour Tortillas (or whole wheat/gluten-free)
- 2 tablespoons Butter or Oil
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef and drain any excess fat.
- Sprinkle the taco seasoning into the beef and add a splash of water. Cook for 5 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the cooked rice and mix well, seasoning to taste.
- Stir in the sour cream until well combined.
- Add both cheeses and stir until melted and combined.
- Place a generous scoop of the mixture in the center of a tortilla and roll it up.
- In the same skillet, melt butter or oil over medium heat. Grill the burrito seam side down until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove from the skillet, let cool briefly, then slice in half and serve.
