A fun twist on the classic salad combining crispy chicken with sweet and spicy honey-hot sauce over fresh vegetables.
Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/3 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons hot sauce
- 4 cups mixed salad greens
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup sliced cucumber
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion
Instructions
- Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces.
- In a bowl, mix flour, salt, and black pepper together.
- Dredge the chicken pieces in the flour mixture until fully coated.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken pieces for 6-8 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are golden and cooked through.
- In a small saucepan, combine honey and hot sauce. Warm over low heat, stirring until well blended.
- Toss the cooked chicken in the honey-hot sauce mixture until evenly coated.
- Arrange salad greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion in bowls. Top with the honey hot chicken. Serve immediately.

Serve immediately for best flavor and texture. Adjust the hot sauce level to your taste. Add extra veggies for more crunch.
