A quick and comforting homemade ground beef stroganoff that’s perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Egg noodles or rice for serving
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat if needed.

  3. Stir in the mushrooms and cook until they’re tender.
  4. Sprinkle flour over the meat mixture, stirring to combine.
  5. Slowly pour in the beef broth while stirring and bring to a simmer.
  6. Add Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir until mixed and taste.
  7. Reduce heat and stir in sour cream until well blended.
  8. Serve over egg noodles or rice, garnishing with fresh parsley if desired.
