Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 ounces egg noodles
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until the onion is translucent.
- Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they are tender.
- Stir in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, and bring to a simmer.
- Reduce the heat and mix in the sour cream. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Meanwhile, cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions.
- Serve the beef stroganoff over the noodles and garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
For a healthier option, swap ground beef with ground turkey or chicken. You can also replace egg noodles with cauliflower noodles.
