Description

A warm and creamy ground beef stroganoff, perfect for a cozy meal in under an hour.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until the onion is translucent.
  3. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they are tender.
  4. Stir in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, and bring to a simmer.
  5. Reduce the heat and mix in the sour cream. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Meanwhile, cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions.
  7. Serve the beef stroganoff over the noodles and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

For a healthier option, swap ground beef with ground turkey or chicken. You can also replace egg noodles with cauliflower noodles.
