Description
A rich and creamy beef stroganoff served with egg noodles, perfect for impressing friends or treating yourself.
Ingredients
- 2 cups egg noodles
- 1 pound beef sirloin, cut into thin strips
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the beef strips and cook until browned. Remove the beef and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add sliced onion and mushrooms; cook until softened.
- Stir in garlic and flour, cooking for an additional minute.
- Gradually add beef broth, stirring until smooth and thickened.
- Return the beef to the skillet and stir in the sour cream. Cook until heated through.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve over the cooked noodles.
