Description

A rich and creamy beef stroganoff served with egg noodles, perfect for impressing friends or treating yourself.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 1 pound beef sirloin, cut into thin strips
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the beef strips and cook until browned. Remove the beef and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add sliced onion and mushrooms; cook until softened.
  4. Stir in garlic and flour, cooking for an additional minute.
  5. Gradually add beef broth, stirring until smooth and thickened.
  6. Return the beef to the skillet and stir in the sour cream. Cook until heated through.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve over the cooked noodles.
