Description

A quick and easy high-protein dish featuring shrimp in a sticky, sweet, and savory honey garlic sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Steamed rice or vegetables for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix honey, garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, ginger, salt, and pepper to create the honey garlic sauce. Whisk until smooth.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat until hot.
  3. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink. Do not overcrowd the pan.
  4. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the shrimp and cook for another minute until the sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Serve the shrimp warm over steamed rice or vegetables, garnished with green onions if desired.

Notes

Tastes best when shrimp are just cooked through; avoid overcooking for a tender texture.
