A creamy and protein-packed pasta dish that’s simple to make and delicious.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Boil a big pot of salted water and cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef while breaking it into small pieces. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Push the cooked beef to one side of the skillet and sauté garlic for about one minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream and gradually add the Parmesan cheese, mixing until smooth.
  5. Add the fresh spinach and let it wilt into the sauce.
  6. Combine the cooked fettuccine with the creamy beef mixture, adding reserved pasta water as needed.
  7. Serve hot.

Notes

Be sure to salt the pasta water well and avoid overcooking the pasta for best results.
