Description

Delicious and healthy breakfast bars made with wholesome ingredients, perfect for a quick snack.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup almond butter or peanut butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup nuts or seeds (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix honey (or maple syrup), nut butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until combined. Fold in the blueberries and optional nuts or seeds.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
