Crispy and tender hassleback potatoes, elegantly sliced for a deliciously impressive side dish.
Ingredients
- 4 medium-sized potatoes
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Optional toppings: shredded cheese, fresh herbs, roasted garlic
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Wash and dry the potatoes.
- Thinly slice the potatoes without cutting all the way through, leaving about 1/4 inch intact.
- Brush the potatoes with olive oil, making sure to get it between the slices.
- Season with salt and pepper, ensuring some gets into the crevices.
- Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket and cook for 25-30 minutes, checking halfway through.
- If using, add cheese or other toppings during the last few minutes of cooking.
- Serve hot, drizzling with olive oil or sprinkling with herbs before serving.
Notes
For a twist, consider herb-infused oils or gourmet cheese blends. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3–4 days.
