Celebrate Halloween with delightful Oreo stuffed chocolate chip cookies, perfect for gatherings or satisfying your sweet tooth.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter (slightly softened)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 and 3/4 cups flour
- 3 tbsp corn starch
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (more for topping)
- 9 Halloween Oreo cookies
- 1/4 cup Halloween sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- Cream the butter with both sugars until smooth and creamy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, stirring until well incorporated.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, corn starch, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients.
- Fold in chocolate chips and Halloween sprinkles until evenly distributed.
- Use a cookie scoop to portion the dough, flatten it, and place an Oreo in the center. Encase the Oreo and roll into a ball.
- Place the dough balls on the baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes.
- Top each cookie with extra chocolate chips immediately after baking, then cool on a wire rack.
Notes
Ensure butter is slightly softened for easier mixing. Seal the Oreo well in the dough to prevent leakage.
