A spooktacular treat that combines fun and flavor, perfect for Halloween festivities.
Ingredients
- 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups colorful candy corn
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a small bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a larger mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then gradually blend in the flour mixture until combined.
- Gently fold in the candy corn and chocolate chips if using.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased cookie sheets, leaving space between each cookie.
- Bake for 9 to 11 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the centers are set.
- Let cookies cool on the sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
