Description

A spooktacular treat that combines fun and flavor, perfect for Halloween festivities.


Ingredients

  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups colorful candy corn
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a larger mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then gradually blend in the flour mixture until combined.
  5. Gently fold in the candy corn and chocolate chips if using.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased cookie sheets, leaving space between each cookie.
  7. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the centers are set.
  8. Let cookies cool on the sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
