Description

A quick and easy recipe for Ground Beef Stroganoff that delivers comforting flavors in no time.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (85/15 recommended)
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard (optional)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour (optional)
  • 12 oz egg noodles, cooked
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt & black pepper (to taste)


Instructions

  1. Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain the excess fat.
  2. Add the onion and mushrooms to the pan and cook for about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the garlic for one minute.
  4. Pour in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard, then bring to a simmer for about 5 minutes.
  5. If using, stir in the flour and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  6. Stir in the sour cream, season with salt and pepper, and let simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
  7. Add the cooked egg noodles and toss to coat in the sauce.
  8. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
