Description

A cheesy and hearty casserole that’s perfect for a lazy Sunday meal, combining ground beef, egg noodles, and a delicious blend of flavors in one dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups egg noodles, uncooked
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Toss in the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onion is translucent.
  4. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until softened.
  5. Pour in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Bring everything to a simmer.
  6. In a large bowl, mix the uncooked egg noodles and sour cream until well combined.
  7. Pour the beef mixture into the bowl with the noodles and stir until evenly mixed.
  8. Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  9. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  11. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
