Description

A rich and creamy one-pan Ground Beef Stroganoff that’s quick and easy to prepare, perfect for cozy nights or impressing dinner guests.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Egg noodles or rice for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add chopped onion and garlic; cook until onions are translucent.
  3. Stir in sliced mushrooms and cook until softened.
  4. Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir to combine.
  5. Gradually add beef broth, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens.
  6. Reduce heat and mix in sour cream and Worcestershire sauce; season with salt and pepper.
  7. Serve over cooked egg noodles or rice.

Notes

For a variation, you can use ground turkey or chicken, Greek yogurt instead of sour cream, or even vegetable broth for a vegetarian option.
