Description

A quick and easy Ground Beef Stroganoff that’s creamy, savory, and perfect for chilly nights.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil


Instructions

  1. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until softened.
  4. Add ground beef and cook until browned; drain excess fat.
  5. Stir in sliced mushrooms and cook until softened.
  6. Add the cream of mushroom soup and mix well.
  7. Reduce heat, stir in sour cream, and season with salt and pepper.
  8. Mix in cooked egg noodles until well combined.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

You can use ground turkey or chicken, or substitute with Greek yogurt instead of sour cream for a healthier option.
