Description
A quick and easy Ground Beef Stroganoff that’s creamy, savory, and perfect for chilly nights.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until softened.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned; drain excess fat.
- Stir in sliced mushrooms and cook until softened.
- Add the cream of mushroom soup and mix well.
- Reduce heat, stir in sour cream, and season with salt and pepper.
- Mix in cooked egg noodles until well combined.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
You can use ground turkey or chicken, or substitute with Greek yogurt instead of sour cream for a healthier option.
